Project Manager

About the role

The Project Manager at GBM will lead the planning, coordination, execution, and financial tracking of projects across Oman. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget while managing vendor relationships, license delivery, and customer acceptance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate project execution, aligning with objectives, scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
• Oversee license, subscription, hardware, and software delivery according to approved scope.
• Track and resolve delays related to vendor delivery, license activation, or technical readiness.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, minutes, progress reports, and closure documents.
• Facilitate clear communication among project teams, vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor project revenue recognition, billing, invoicing, and accounts‑receivable status.
• Control project budget, cost consumption, and contingency usage to prevent overruns.
• Identify and mitigate project, financial, and delivery risks.
• Prepare regular status reports for leadership, covering progress, revenue, AR, risks, and closure status.

Required profile

• Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
• Experience managing cross‑functional teams and external vendors.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Ability to monitor financial aspects such as revenue recognition and invoicing.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder updates.
