About the role
A newly established law firm in Oman is seeking an experienced Energy Lawyer to join its growing team as it launches a new practice. Based in Al Mouj Business Park, Muscat, the firm operates under English common law and aims to build a team of 25+ lawyers, focusing on developing Omani legal talent. This role offers the chance to work on high‑growth renewable energy transactions in the GCC.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on renewable energy projects, including solar, wind and water initiatives.
- Mentor and transfer knowledge to junior Omani associates.
Required profile
- Qualified in a common‑law jurisdiction with at least 8 years post‑qualification experience.
- Hands‑on experience advising on renewable energy projects.
- Preferably experience within the GCC; Oman experience not essential.
- Project finance experience is a strong advantage.
Required skills
- Renewable energy sector expertise (solar, wind, water).
- Project finance knowledge.
