RTG Crane Operator – Port & Container Terminal

About the role

New Alfa International is seeking an experienced RTG Crane Operator to join its port and container terminal operations in Muscat, Oman. The successful candidate will safely operate rubber‑tired gantry (RTG) cranes to load and unload containers while maintaining high productivity and strict safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate RTG cranes for efficient container handling in the terminal.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental (HSE) procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of crane operations and productivity metrics.
• Coordinate with terminal staff to optimize loading and unloading sequences.
• Perform routine inspections and report any equipment issues promptly.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in port terminal operations.
• Proven RTG crane operating experience.
• Strong knowledge of container handling procedures.
• Good English communication skills.
• Preferably experience within GCC ports.
• Demonstrated safety and operational awareness.
