Science Teacher (Primary and Secondary)

About the role

Assafwah Schools in Muscat is seeking a qualified Science Teacher to deliver primary and secondary science education. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team and contribute to the school’s commitment to high‑quality, internationally‑aligned learning.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver science instruction following the school's curriculum, which may include Bilingual, English National Curriculum (UK), US National Curriculum, International Baccalaureate (IB), International Primary, Cambridge (CIPP), or International Middle Years Curriculum.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a science‑related field (e.g., General Science, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Physics and Astronomy, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Microbiology, Zoology, or related)
• MA or PhD in a related discipline (preferred)
• State Licensure Exam for Teachers (preferred)
• IELTS score of at least 6 band
• TOEFL and CELTA (if any)
• 5‑10 years teaching experience in a well‑known international or private school
