Security Officer

About the role

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment across the property. You will patrol all areas, assist guests with access, and act as the first line of response during emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol the entire property and control guest access to rooms and facilities.
• Monitor CCTV systems, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, and fire‑life safety equipment.
• Lock and unlock property entrances as required.
• Conduct daily physical hazard inspections and report safety issues.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and coordinate with EMS.
• Assist guests and employees during emergency situations and defuse disturbances.
• Complete incident reports and daily loss‑prevention summaries.
• Escort unwelcome persons from the premises while maintaining order.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties.
• Maintain confidentiality of all security and property documents.

Required profile

• Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, or run for extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills with guests, staff, and external responders.
• Commitment to uphold company policies, safety standards, and confidentiality.
