Senior AI Engineer (PhD) – Lead AI Research & Development

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Engineer with a PhD to lead the design, development, and deployment of cutting‑edge artificial intelligence solutions. The role combines advanced research, product engineering, and strategic leadership to turn innovative AI concepts into scalable enterprise applications.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct advanced research in AI, ML, deep learning, and generative AI, evaluating emerging technologies and publishing findings.
• Architect and develop scalable AI/ML models, including large language model‑based applications, AI agents, and computer‑vision systems.
• Design and fine‑tune Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, implement prompt engineering, and integrate vector databases for semantic search.
• Build end‑to‑end MLOps pipelines, implement CI/CD for AI applications, monitor model drift, and optimize performance and cost.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to AI engineers and data scientists, and collaborate with business stakeholders to define AI roadmaps.

Required profile

• PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of hands‑on AI/ML development experience, including research and production deployment.
• Proven track record leading AI projects in enterprise environments.
• Experience with generative AI, large language models, and advanced deep‑learning architectures.
