Senior DevOps Engineer – Oman (12+ month contract)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our client’s team in Oman on a 12‑month contract. The role focuses on operating and supporting containerised application platforms, ensuring high availability and performance of enterprise workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support Kubernetes clusters, pods, containers and related infrastructure.
• Perform container lifecycle tasks including deployment, scaling and maintenance.
• Automate operational processes using Ansible for configuration management.
• Monitor platform health, performance and availability with enterprise monitoring and logging tools.
• Analyse logs, troubleshoot production incidents and drive timely resolution.
• Support application releases through Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure and support teams to maintain stable operations.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in platform support, DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Hands‑on experience in production support environments, preferably 24x7.
• Exposure to Linux administration and scripting.

Required skills
