Senior Electrical Engineer

About the role

Worley is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and deliver electrical engineering services for oil and gas projects. The role involves ensuring technical solutions meet client, statutory and regulatory requirements while supporting project delivery on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver electrical engineering services that comply with Worley, customer and regulatory specifications.
• Initiate, manage and, when required, supervise project electrical requirements.
• Participate in project meetings, prepare progress reports and follow checking procedures.
• Support procurement, construction and commissioning activities, including writing requisitions, evaluating technical bids and issuing purchase orders.
• Act as electrical engineering lead on assigned projects and oversee team members where applicable.
• Promote work‑share, assign tasks, supervise progress and ensure compliance with change‑management processes.
• Resolve discrepancies between Worley and customer requirements and keep up‑to‑date with technical innovations.
• Mentor junior engineers and communicate effectively with all project stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in electrical engineering within the oil and gas sector.
