Senior Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Maintenance Engineer to lead the preventive, breakdown and calibration maintenance of our fiber and cable plant machinery. The role involves ensuring high equipment availability, safety compliance and continuous improvement in a fast‑growing manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage preventive, breakdown and calibration maintenance activities for all plant equipment.
• Develop, implement and monitor maintenance schedules, KPIs and budgets.
• Review daily maintenance work, new projects and machine modifications.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis to reduce recurring failures and downtime.
• Coordinate and supervise external vendors, contractors and AMC service providers.
• Oversee repair plans, cost estimates and maintenance budgeting.
• Identify critical spare parts, maintain optimal inventory levels and manage procurement.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety policies and QHSE requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and generate regular reports for the Plant Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of maintenance experience in a cable or fiber manufacturing plant.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, utility and automation systems.
• Proven leadership, planning and team‑management abilities.
• Good computer literacy and maintenance reporting capability.
