Senior Operations Manager – Cloud Grocery Store

About the role

Talabat is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead the end‑to‑end operations of its cloud‑grocery concept, tMart. You will be responsible for scaling the service across multiple Middle‑East markets while ensuring high standards of inventory, pick‑pack, and store performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee full store operations, including team management, inventory control, pick‑pack processes, and property/asset management.
• Implement expense‑control initiatives and define maintenance guidelines for equipment and facilities.
• Monitor financial and operational KPIs, develop action plans, and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure product quality, shrink/expiry control, and availability of the selected product range.
• Lead staff training, development programs, and productivity standards.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive experience managing multiple product categories in large retail or e‑commerce environments.
• Proven track record of building teams and leading cross‑functional projects at scale.
• Experience in fulfilment, FMCG, or international retail settings is a plus.
