Senior Project Manager – Large Strategic Project in Oman

About the role

Classera is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a large‑scale strategic project in Oman. The role requires ownership of end‑to‑end delivery, governance, and stakeholder relationships with government ministries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of a large‑scale strategic project in Oman.
• Own project planning, execution, governance, timelines, budget, risks and deliverables.
• Act as the primary point of contact for key client and government stakeholders.
• Manage cross‑functional teams and coordinate with internal teams, partners and vendors.
• Establish strong project governance, reporting, escalation and risk‑management processes.
• Ensure milestones and contractual deliverables are completed on time and to required quality.
• Manage scope changes, dependencies, issues and project risks proactively.
• Prepare and present project status updates to senior management and executive stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Required profile

• 8+ years of project management experience with proven ownership of complex projects.
• Strong experience managing large‑scale government, public‑sector or enterprise projects, preferably in Oman.
• Demonstrated delivery of technology, digital transformation, EdTech or IT projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
• Experience in project governance, risk management, budgeting and executive reporting.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
• Fluent English; Arabic is highly preferred.
