Senior Road Freight Operations Coordinator

About the role

DHL Global Forwarding is seeking a Senior Road Freight Operations Coordinator to manage end‑to‑end road freight activities for domestic and international shipments in Muscat. You will ensure timely allocation of transport resources, maintain high service quality and support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor road freight operations from order receipt to final delivery, ensuring on‑time delivery and compliance with regulations.
• Manage carrier and vendor relationships, monitor performance against KPIs and support contract implementation.
• Act as primary operational contact for key customers, providing shipment updates and handling escalations.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operational reports, analyse performance indicators and recommend corrective actions.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities, participate in digitalisation projects and mentor junior coordinators.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• 5‑8 years of experience in road freight transportation, with at least 2‑3 years in a senior coordination role.
• Strong knowledge of local and cross‑border transport regulations, customs procedures and market pricing.
