Senior Software Engineer – AI Platform for Short-Term Rentals

About the role

Base360.ai is building an AI‑driven operating system for short‑term rental operators. As a Senior Software Engineer you will shape the core platform, delivering scalable APIs, automation workflows and AI‑powered features that directly impact property managers, their teams and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, cloud‑native services for reservations, pricing, payments and guest communications.
• Build event‑driven automation engines that synchronize bookings, trigger cleaning schedules and generate owner statements.
• Develop AI‑enabled workflows using LLMs and agents to automate guest interactions, maintenance triage and pricing decisions.
• Maintain and expand integrations with Airbnb, Hostaway, Stripe, Twilio, OpenAI, Google and other ecosystem partners.

Required profile

• Strong experience building production‑grade software systems and owning end‑to‑end delivery.
• Proficiency with FastAPI, Python, React or comparable frameworks.
• Deep understanding of APIs, distributed systems, cloud architecture and scalable backend design.
• Ability to work independently, make sound technical decisions and balance speed with reliability.
