Senior Solutions Architect

About the role

RQMNA is building national‑scale platforms that deliver government and enterprise services to everyone, sovereign by design. We are looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to join our Muscat office and turn high‑level architecture into fast, reliable systems that operate under real‑world load.

Key responsibilities

• Translate the platform’s reference architecture into concrete, buildable designs for both Front‑End and Back‑End domains.
• Make detailed decisions on performance, scalability, resilience, and data flow.
• Define component, service, and integration boundaries that delivery teams can implement cleanly.
• Set non‑functional requirements, performance budgets, and quality standards, and enforce them.
• Conduct system design reviews and resolve cross‑domain trade‑offs.
• Prototype and validate critical paths before they reach production scale.
• Collaborate with solution, data, and platform architects to maintain end‑to‑end system coherence.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing production systems that remain fast and stable as they scale.
• Comfortable reasoning about both Front‑End behavior and Back‑End contracts.
• Strong focus on latency, throughput, failure modes, and capacity planning.
• Ability to turn abstract architecture into clear, buildable designs.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Evidence‑based approach to resolving technical debates.
• Fluent English required; Arabic is a valuable advantage.
• Bonus for experience with government or enterprise‑scale system design.
