Site Architect

About the role

Parsons is looking for a proactive Site Architect to lead on‑site architectural works, ensure design intent, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams for high‑quality project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor architectural works on site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Review and endorse shop drawings, material submittals, method statements and samples/mock‑ups for architectural elements and finishes.
• Coordinate interfaces between architectural, structural, MEP, façade and landscape works to resolve clashes and maintain design integrity.
• Conduct inspections, QA/QC checks and manage RFIs, technical queries, NCRs and corrective actions.
• Oversee architectural finishes, façade systems, waterproofing, fire‑stopping and acoustic details.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, fire and life safety, accessibility requirements and authority approvals.
• Manage mock‑ups, sample boards and lead material selection and approvals with consultants/clients.
• Monitor progress, maintain site records (redlines/as‑builts) and prepare daily/weekly reports and dashboards.
• Participate in site meetings, coordinate with contractors and consultants, and resolve construction issues promptly.
• Lead snagging/punch lists, close‑out inspections and handover documentation, including as‑built drawings and O&M manuals.
• Support change management and variations while safeguarding design intent and cost/quality objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 10 years of site‑based architectural experience on building projects (residential, commercial, mixed‑use or institutional).
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, architectural detailing, finishes and façade systems.
• Solid understanding of QA/QC procedures, building codes, fire and life safety and accessibility standards.
• Proven ability to review shop drawings, submittals and method statements and perform site inspections.
• Excellent coordination, communication and problem‑solving skills with a collaborative approach.
