Software Engineer – Industrial & AI Solutions

About the role

LAMAD LLC is seeking a full‑time Software Engineer to join its Muscat office. You will design, develop, and maintain engineering software applications, AI‑enabled tools, and industrial data platforms for clients in the oil‑and‑gas and broader industrial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop back‑end services, APIs and micro‑services that integrate with SCADA, historians and metering equipment.
• Design scalable software architectures and implement data processing and analytics pipelines.
• Collaborate with metering, process and software engineers to translate complex engineering requirements into robust code.
• Participate in system design reviews, code reviews, testing and technical documentation.
• Contribute to AI model development, industrial data analytics and digitalisation initiatives as project needs arise.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of professional software development experience (or equivalent internships, research or open‑source projects).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or comparable practical experience.
• Strong foundation in computer science principles and object‑oriented programming.
