Software Engineer

About the role

The Software Engineer will design, develop, test, implement and support secure, reliable and scalable software solutions that enable the Bank’s digital services and business operations. You will work with cross‑functional teams to ensure applications meet business, technical, security and operational requirements while contributing to the Bank’s digital transformation journey.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, implement and maintain software applications in line with business requirements, architectural standards and best practices.
• Produce technical documentation, solution designs and implementation guides to support knowledge sharing and maintenance.
• Perform unit, integration and performance testing, debug issues, resolve defects and optimise code for quality and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and peer collaboration to improve engineering consistency.
• Support application deployment, production releases, monitoring and post‑implementation activities.
• Monitor application performance, logs and alerts, and assist in incident resolution and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with business users, QA, architects, infrastructure and other technology functions to deliver integrated solutions.
• Develop and maintain APIs, system integrations and modern software services that enable efficient business processes.
• Apply secure software development practices, adhering to information security standards and vulnerability management.
• Contribute to AI‑enabled features, automation capabilities and intelligent digital solutions.
