Sourcing & Proposal Specialist

About the role

As a Global Sourcing & Proposal Specialist at IDEAL ENERGY TECHNOLOGY LLC, you will drive the procurement of materials and components for cutting‑edge industrial machinery. You will work closely with sales, procurement and project teams to ensure timely, cost‑effective sourcing while maintaining high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, price and delivery performance.
• Negotiate contracts and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Prepare detailed, competitive proposals in collaboration with the sales team, including cost estimates, timelines and technical specifications.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of suppliers and products.
• Coordinate with sales, procurement and project management to ensure seamless execution of proposals and orders.
• Generate regular reports on sourcing performance, cost savings and proposal success.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in sourcing, procurement or proposal preparation, preferably in industrial, oil & gas, engineering or MEP sectors.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems.
