Spa Director – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Spa Director leads all aspects of the spa at the St. Regis Al Mouj resort, overseeing programs, services, facilities and staff. Reporting to senior hotel management, the role ensures exceptional guest experiences while driving financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily spa operations, including salon, skin‑care, fitness, massage, reservations, reception and locker rooms.
• Develop and manage the spa budget, monitor actual vs. projected sales, and control expenses such as supplies, uniforms and amenities.
• Lead sales and marketing initiatives, create group gifting programs, coordinate promotions, and integrate spa services into property‑wide advertising.
• Oversee revenue management, payroll functions, and controllable costs to meet or exceed budgeted goals.
• Champion guest hospitality, empower staff to deliver superior service, and continuously improve satisfaction metrics.
• Conduct HR activities: recruit, interview, hire, onboard, appraise performance, and maintain open communication with the team.

Required profile

• Either a 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related field with 4 years spa‑related experience, or a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with 2 years relevant experience.
• Proven experience managing spa operations, budgets, sales/marketing strategies, and leading a multidisciplinary team in a luxury hospitality environment.
