Spa Operations Manager

About the role

The Spa Operations Manager will lead the Spa, fitness and Kids Club operations at Mandarin Oriental Muscat, ensuring financial performance, guest satisfaction and brand standards are met. Working closely with finance, marketing and hotel leadership, you will drive revenue, optimise resources and enhance the wellness experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the annual budget for the Spa, fitness and Kids Club, re‑forecast as needed and monitor financial performance.
• Compile monthly profit and loss statements, review daily revenue data from Datavision and discuss results with the Hotel Manager.
• Set strategies to achieve revenue targets, optimise therapist schedules, treatment room utilisation and retail sales.
• Plan and control yearly Capex, support the Director of Finance in overall hotel financial performance.
• Develop and execute the Spa marketing plan with the Director of Marketing Communications, create the yearly event calendar and conduct market research.
• Liaise with other Spa Directors across the group to share best practices and drive consistency.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing spa or wellness operations, including budgeting, financial reporting and staff scheduling.
• Ability to collaborate with finance and marketing teams to meet revenue and brand objectives.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret revenue data and optimise resource utilisation.
