Specialist / Consultant – Obstetrics & Gynecology (OBGYN)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Obstetrics & Gynecology specialist to join our clinical team in Oman. The role involves delivering comprehensive women's health services, from antenatal care through post‑natal follow‑up, and managing a wide range of gynecological conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full obstetric care, including antenatal monitoring, labour and delivery management, and post‑natal follow‑up.
• Perform normal deliveries, Caesarean sections, and a variety of gynecological procedures in line with credentials.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage gynecological disorders.
• Offer family planning, reproductive health counseling, and preventive care services.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient medical records.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality patient outcomes.

Required profile

• MBBS with MD/MS/DNB (or equivalent) in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Minimum 3 years of post‑specialization clinical experience.
• Valid medical license or eligibility to obtain one in Oman.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency in obstetric and gynecological clinical procedures.
