Specialist Orthopedic – Muscat, Oman

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Specialist Orthopedic to join a leading outpatient clinic in Muscat, Oman. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality, non‑surgical musculoskeletal care to a diverse patient base.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Manage acute fractures, sports injuries, arthritis, back pain, and joint disorders.
• Perform minor outpatient procedures such as joint injections, aspirations, casting, and splinting.
• Interpret diagnostic imaging including X‑rays, MRIs, and CT scans.
• Maintain comprehensive medical records and adhere to international standards of care.
• Refer patients requiring advanced surgical interventions to appropriate specialist centers.

Required profile

• MBBS plus MS/DNB in Orthopedics or recognized equivalent.
• Eligible for Oman Ministry of Health specialist licensure.
• Minimum three years of post‑specialization clinical experience.
• Strong diagnostic acumen and patient‑centered communication skills.

Required skills

• Interpret diagnostic imaging (X‑ray, MRI, CT).
• Perform joint injections and aspirations.
• Apply casting and splinting techniques.
• Manage acute fractures and sports‑related injuries.
