Specialist Physician - Dermatology

About the role

A leading multi-specialty hospital group in the Sultanate of Oman is looking for a Specialist Dermatologist to join its Dermatology department in Ibri. The role combines general clinical dermatology with a strong focus on aesthetic and cosmetic dermatology.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient dermatology consultations, diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Perform aesthetic and cosmetic dermatology procedures according to clinical protocols.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex cases.
• Ensure compliance with hospital quality, safety and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• DNB Dermatology / DM Dermatology / DCVL / FCPS / MRCP qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience; preference for 4-6 years.
• Prometric written examination report preferred.
• Oman Dataflow completed or MOH license is an added advantage.
• Selected candidates must complete the Oman Specialist Medical Board (OSMB) licensing process, including dataflow verification, the Prometric written exam and the oral (VIVA) exam, which can be virtual or in person.

Required skills

• Aesthetic and cosmetic dermatology: Botox, dermal fillers, chemical peels, PRP therapy, skin rejuvenation, laser procedures.
• Pigmentation management and acne scar treatments.
• Anti-aging procedures.
• General clinical dermatology diagnosis and management.
