Staff Nurse – Occupational Health (Permanent)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Staff Nurse to join our occupational health team on a permanent basis. The role involves delivering first‑aid, emergency care, and health‑promotion services to employees within a corporate environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first aid and emergency medical care to staff.
• Assess workplace injuries, manage treatment, and coordinate referrals.
• Maintain accurate, confidential employee health records.
• Support health‑wellness initiatives, including vaccinations and health screenings.
• Monitor occupational health risks and report hazards.
• Conduct health awareness, first‑aid training, and safety education sessions.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain medical equipment, emergency supplies, and first‑aid kits.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (GNM/B.Sc. Nursing) with a valid Nursing Council registration.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience for B.Sc. Nursing or 4 years for GNM.
• Experience in occupational health, industrial nursing, or corporate healthcare preferred.
• Basic knowledge of occupational health and workplace safety regulations.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Trauma Care certification (ITLS, PHTLS, or equivalent).
