Store Manager – Retail Operations

About the role

The Store Manager is responsible for flawless execution of assigned tasks, driving retail operations to maximise sales, profitability and stock management while delivering best‑in‑class customer experience (NPS) and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure resource availability to serve customers and match customer flow in the store.
• Train and develop teams to meet customer requirements.
• Interact with customers to understand preferences and enhance their experience (NPS).
• Execute marketing, human capital and digital services flawlessly within the store.
• Manage stock, shrinkage and waste throughout the business cycle.
• Maintain expertise in fresh food hygiene, quality and display.
• Analyse competition landscape and suggest improvements.
• Oversee overall store maintenance, progressive maintenance and proper asset management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
• 5+ years relevant experience in a similar role, including 2+ years in retail business.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong people and negotiation skills to build relationships across all levels.
• Pragmatic problem‑solving ability coupled with analytical capabilities.
• Highly organised with strong multitasking skills.
