About the role
New Alfa International is seeking experienced STS Crane Operators to work in a busy port and container terminal in Muscat, Oman. The role focuses on safely handling ship‑to‑shore container cranes while supporting overall terminal productivity and strict HSE standards.
Key responsibilities
- Operate ship‑to‑shore (STS) container cranes efficiently and safely.
- Perform pre‑operation checks, routine maintenance, and post‑operation reporting.
- Coordinate with terminal staff to ensure smooth loading and unloading of vessels.
- Adhere to terminal procedures, productivity targets, and HSE requirements.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation for each crane operation.
Required profile
- 5–10 years of port or terminal operations experience.
- Proven experience operating STS cranes.
- Strong knowledge of terminal procedures and productivity metrics.
- Good understanding of health, safety and environment (HSE) standards.
- Effective English communication skills.
- GCC experience preferred.
- High safety awareness.
