Supervisor, Offshore Maintenance

About the role

The Supervisor, Offshore Maintenance leads the execution of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation maintenance on an offshore platform. The role ensures all work is performed safely, efficiently and in line with OQEP’s procedures, schedules and HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily preventive and corrective maintenance activities on the offshore platform.
• Coordinate and monitor maintenance technicians, ensuring work orders are completed on time and to quality standards.
• Conduct inspections and verify completed work against technical specifications and HSE requirements.
• Support fault‑finding, troubleshooting and resolution of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation issues.
• Plan and oversee shutdowns, turnarounds and equipment overhauls, managing sequencing and resources.
• Implement permit‑to‑work processes, isolations and risk assessments for all maintenance tasks.
• Manage tools, equipment and spare parts inventory according to asset management procedures.
• Review maintenance records and CMMS documentation for accuracy.
• Provide on‑the‑job coaching and technical guidance to technicians.
• Liaise with Operations, Engineering and Technical Services for scheduling and equipment readiness.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising offshore mechanical, electrical or instrumentation maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards and permit‑to‑work procedures.
• Ability to coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams and manage shutdown projects.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills for fault diagnosis and resolution.
