Talent Development & Performance Officer

About the role

The Talent Development & Performance Officer supports the design and delivery of performance management, learning and development, and employee capability initiatives. The role ensures that appraisal cycles, training programmes, and related HR reporting are coordinated, documented and aligned with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Administer the Performance Management System and coordinate the annual appraisal cycle, including reminders, documentation and tracking.
• Review appraisal submissions for completeness, maintain records and assist in analysing outcomes to identify gaps and development needs.
• Prepare performance‑related reports, dashboards and probation evaluation follow‑ups for HR and management.
• Support the annual Learning and Development Plan, conduct Training Needs Analyses, and coordinate internal and external training sessions.
• Maintain training records, evaluation forms, provider database and produce utilisation and cost reports.
• Drive employee engagement activities such as survey follow‑ups, onboarding programmes, team‑building events and internal communications.

Required profile

• Experience in HR processes related to performance appraisal, learning and development, and employee engagement.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cycles and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with department heads, line managers and training providers.
