Technician – Kitchen and Laundry – Engineering

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Technician – Kitchen and Laundry – Engineering to join the Jumeirah Muscat Bay team. The role involves maintaining and operating technical systems across the resort’s marina, kitchen, and laundry facilities, ensuring safety, compliance and optimal performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain technical infrastructure including sewage, water, electrical power, lighting, pump‑out systems, fire protection and related equipment.
• Ensure proper operation of seawater circulation, sanitary facilities, substations, pump stations, sewage treatment, water tanks and coastal structures.
• Coordinate hazardous waste disposal with authorized providers and enforce environmental and safety regulations.
• Arrange external maintenance services for infrastructure not handled internally and assist in budgeting for technical maintenance.
• Inspect and verify functionality of all safety equipment, issue work permits and support onsite works with external vendors.
• Monitor water and electricity consumption, record meter readings, maintain technical documentation and report damages for insurance purposes.

Required profile

• High school education with a relevant technical diploma.
• Experience in maintaining technical systems in a hospitality or similar environment.
• Ability to work on‑site, follow safety procedures and coordinate with external service providers.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
