About the role

The Wealth Advisor will drive growth of Bank Nizwa’s Wealth Management business, supporting the bank’s strategic goal of increasing non‑funded income. Working with affluent and high‑net‑worth clients, you will provide Shariah‑compliant investment solutions and build long‑term relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve assigned wealth management revenue and non‑funded income targets.
• Identify and develop fee‑based income sources from the retail banking customer base.
• Build and manage a pipeline of investment opportunities through to successful closure.
• Conduct comprehensive client discussions to assess financial objectives, risk appetite and liquidity needs.
• Recommend suitable Shariah‑compliant products from the bank’s approved portfolio and ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain ongoing client engagement to review needs, increase wallet share and retain relationships.
• Acquire new affluent and high‑net‑worth customers through referrals, networking and approved business development activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in wealth management, private banking or financial advisory, preferably serving affluent or high‑net‑worth clients.
• Strong understanding of Shariah‑compliant investment principles and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with retail banking, branch teams and external partners.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Shariah‑compliant financial products.
• Ability to assess client suitability and document recommendations.
