Accountant

About the role

The Accountant will support Tathmeer Properties’ finance function by handling day‑to‑day financial operations for its extensive portfolio of residential and commercial projects. Working on‑site in Muscat, you will ensure accurate recording of transactions, timely reporting and compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and prepare journal entries in the general ledger.
• Prepare, analyse and present monthly financial statements for management review.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management for multiple property projects.
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable and accounts receivable balances.
• Monitor compliance with internal controls, Omani accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Collaborate with property management teams to track project revenues and expenses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA, ACCA or equivalent is a plus.
• Relevant experience in real‑estate or property‑management accounting.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work on‑site in Muscat and handle confidential financial information with integrity.
