Accountant – Retail Hypermarket

About the role

The leading hypermarket chain in Oman is seeking an Accountant to join its finance team. This full‑time position supports the retail operations by ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records for the hypermarket operations.
• Perform bookkeeping tasks and manage day‑to‑day accounting entries.
• Prepare financial statements and reports in line with company policies.
• Apply accounting procedures and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Required profile

• Relevant accounting experience (preferred) with at least 1 year of professional exposure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.
• Willingness to work in Muscat, Oman.
