Assistant Manager – Internal Audit

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Internal Audit will lead comprehensive process, operational and routine/pre‑audit activities across the group’s business units in Oman. This role focuses on identifying control gaps, inefficiencies and compliance risks, and delivering data‑driven recommendations to improve governance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough process, operational and routine/pre‑audits across all group business units.
• Identify control gaps, inefficiencies and compliance risks, and propose actionable improvements.
• Collaborate with business units to implement corrective actions and monitor follow‑up progress.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to stakeholders with clear, data‑driven insights.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of audit procedures, findings and resolutions.
• Support external audit engagements by providing necessary evidence and coordination.

Required profile

• CA qualification.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in operational and pre‑audit reviews within a corporate or group environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with audit tools and documentation systems.
