Assistant Plant Operator

About the role

The Assistant Plant Operator supports plant operations by assisting senior operators in monitoring equipment, maintaining production flow, and ensuring a safe working environment. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in an industrial setting and is ideal for candidates with a technical background who are ready to work in shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in operating and monitoring plant machinery.
• Support routine maintenance and inspection activities.
• Handle material movement and perform basic operational tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas.
• Follow instructions from plant operators and supervisors.

Required profile

• ITI or other technical qualification preferred.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred; fresh graduates with a technical background are also considered.
• Basic knowledge of plant operations.
• Physically fit and able to work in an industrial environment.
• Willingness to work in shifts and adhere to safety standards.
