Associate – International Projects, Energy & Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking an experienced associate to join our International Projects, Energy and Infrastructure team in Oman. The role focuses on power and water projects, PPPs, infrastructure development and oil & gas work for both domestic and international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Support developers and procurers of energy and infrastructure projects across Oman and the GCC.
• Manage large, complex transactions under partner supervision.
• Draft and review bespoke contracts and analyse contractual positions.
• Provide support to other departments as required.
• Build and maintain client relationships and contribute to marketing initiatives.
• Deliver client training seminars and presentations.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience at a reputable law firm.
• Strong academic record with a law degree, preferably from a common‑law jurisdiction.
• Previous experience in the Omani market.
• Willingness to travel within the GCC for meetings.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Proactive, flexible, and able to work effectively in a close‑knit office.
