Cybersecurity Senior Engineer

About the role

Schneider Electric is seeking a Cybersecurity Senior Engineer to join its Enterprise Network and Security Services team. The role focuses on delivering, implementing, and maintaining security solutions for customers across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy host and network security solutions, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Perform site visits, installation, connectivity testing, and acceptance testing from a security perspective.
• Provide end‑user training, technical documentation, and ongoing support for security solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and advise the UAE Cybersecurity Operations Manager or Global Cybersecurity Director on their suitability.
• Act as a liaison between customers and Schneider Electric’s delivery organization, translating requirements into actionable security implementations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in OT Industrial Control Systems.
• 3+ years managing network‑based firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper or equivalent).
• 3+ years in network troubleshooting using sniffers and monitors.
• 3+ years managing intrusion detection products.
• Strong background in Windows Active Directory and host‑based security technologies.
