Dancer / Instructor / Studio Operator & Ambassador

About the role

8count Dance Company, part of Oxford Oracle, is looking for versatile dance professionals to join its flagship studio in Muscat, Oman. The role blends performance, teaching and studio management, supporting the growth of a dynamic dance business.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and perform across multiple dance styles, delivering high‑energy choreography sessions.
• Manage day‑to‑day studio operations, including attendance tracking and maintaining a welcoming environment.
• Collect payments, assist with basic financial record‑keeping, and ensure accurate client billing.
• Drive customer growth through outreach, retention initiatives and new teaching or event opportunities.
• Contribute to programme development, market trend analysis and creation of media content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and the company website.

Required profile

• Strong technical dance training with a professional teaching approach.
• Ability to switch between high‑energy choreography and administrative tasks.
• Experience in multiple dance styles and willingness to introduce additional styles such as bellydance, ballet or ballroom.
• Independent thinker comfortable contributing to business development.

Required skills

• Urban, commercial and contemporary dance techniques.
• Heels technique, acro, afro, salsa and Latin dance.
• Social media management on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
• Basic studio operations: attendance tracking and payment processing.
