Data Analytics Specialist

About the role

The Data Analytics Specialist will support the bank’s analytical and reporting functions by designing dashboards, analysing trends, and ensuring data accuracy. This role is essential for delivering insights that drive operational efficiency and data‑driven strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain dashboards and reports using SAP BusinessObjects, Power BI and SQL.
• Extract, transform and validate data from multiple systems, perform data cleansing and consistency checks.
• Analyse KPIs, metrics and trends to identify performance opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into visual reports.
• Support proof‑of‑concepts, pilot initiatives and documentation of post‑pilot results.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual reporting effort.

Required profile

• Omani nationality.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence or data management.
• Relevant certifications in Power BI, SQL or Data Analytics are a plus.
