Digital Systems Specialist

About the role

Al Ghafa is looking for a motivated Junior IT & Automation Associate to drive its digital transformation. The role is ideal for an early‑career professional eager to design and implement automation solutions that boost productivity across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the company’s IT automation strategy using RPA bots, AI tools and modern platforms.
• Design and launch a secure customer‑facing portal for document uploads, real‑time service tracking and dashboards.
• Develop backend systems, including databases and OCR engines, to extract structured data from scanned documents.
• Build or integrate automation bots (e.g., Selenium, Power Automate, UiPath) for form submission, document upload and payment processing on internal or external portals.
• Automate invoice processing and data‑entry workflows with AI‑powered OCR to improve accuracy.
• Create AI‑based tools and API‑driven automations for HR functions such as overtime tracking and attendance logging.
• Integrate UniFi infrastructure (UDM, NAS, user access tracking) with Microsoft services (Power BI, Entra ID sync) to deliver a seamless digital environment.
• Document systems, configurations and processes, and conduct knowledge‑transfer sessions.
• Participate in internal training, mentoring and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Basic understanding of at least one of the following: Microsoft Power Platform, Python or JavaScript, cloud or AI services (Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.
• Positive attitude, adaptability and a passion for continuous learning.
