Drilling Maintenance Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Drilling Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance and workshop operations for drilling and rig equipment in Oman. This senior leadership position oversees a large-scale workshop, ensuring operational excellence and safety across a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Direct all maintenance activities for drilling and rig equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Manage a team of 50+ personnel, providing coaching, performance management, and resource planning.
• Maintain adherence to API Q1 and ASME standards throughout all operations.
• Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Coordinate with oilfield services and drilling contractors to optimise equipment availability.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in drilling/rig equipment maintenance.
• Proven leadership managing large teams (50+ staff).
• In‑depth knowledge of API Q1 and ASME standards (essential).
• Background in oilfield services or drilling contractor environments.
• Strong operational, planning and people‑management capabilities.
