ESG & Sustainability Associate

About the role

The ESG & Sustainability Associate supports the bank’s environmental, social and governance initiatives by providing analytical, reporting and coordination services across sustainability, climate risk and circular activities. The role ensures data integrity, regulatory compliance and credible sustainability outcomes through close collaboration with senior management and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation of ESG policies, procedures and escalation protocols, and prepare management and board reporting.
• Assist senior management and board with ESG, climate risk, sustainability trends and emerging regulatory developments.
• Lead periodic ESG materiality assessments and compile related analytics.
• Collect, validate and consolidate ESG data, maintain databases, trackers and dashboards for internal and external reporting.
• Perform basic ESG analysis and benchmarking to inform materiality assessments.
• Prepare documentation, summaries and internal reports for sustainable finance activities and related KPIs.
• Coordinate ESG and climate‑related data collection, validation and analysis for reporting.
• Assist in preparing ESG and sustainability disclosures, annual ESG reports, regulatory submissions and internal management reports.
• Maintain document repositories, evidence logs and audit trails to support assurance and regulatory reviews.
• Represent the bank at ESG‑related seminars, presentations and communication activities.
