Executive Director – Head of GTx Oman

About the role

The Executive Director – Head of GTx Oman will lead the execution of the GTx strategy for FAB in Oman. Based in Muscat, the role works closely with the FAB CEO and Head of Coverage to develop and grow trade and cash business across local and inbound/outbound clients.

Key responsibilities

• Set and execute the GTx business strategy in Oman, aligning with regional and international heads.
• Engage with clients together with the Coverage team to build GTx sales and solutions.
• Deliver revenue targets and risk‑adjusted returns while monitoring performance gaps.
• Structure, execute and implement innovative GTx solutions, providing technical expertise to relationship managers.
• Establish strong stakeholder relationships across the network to grow the GTx franchise.
• Collaborate with Cash Management and Trade Finance product teams in the UAE on documentation, product rollout and policy development.
• Provide market feedback to enhance the Bank’s product offering in Oman.
• Work with Coverage teams on client account plans, credit proposals and market development.
• Ensure timely execution of transactions, coordinating with Compliance, Finance, Operations and other functions.
• Identify and manage fraud, regulatory and compliance risks, and drive continuous improvement of products and processes.

Required profile

• Significant experience executing GTx strategy and driving trade finance sales.
• Proven ability to deliver revenue targets and manage risk‑adjusted assets.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across banking and product teams.
• Experience in structuring bespoke GTx solutions and providing technical guidance.
• Ability to work closely with senior leadership, including CEOs and Heads of Coverage.
