F-16 Weapons Instructor Course (WIC) Instructor Pilot

About the role

This full‑time position is for an experienced F‑16 Weapons Instructor Course (WIC) Instructor Pilot stationed in Thumrait, Oman. You will deliver academic and in‑flight training to pilots, operate Full Mission Simulators and Instructor Operating Stations, and act as the subject‑matter expert for courseware updates.

Key responsibilities

• Provide ground and flight instruction using F‑16 Block 50 aircraft and Full Mission Simulators.
• Develop and update lesson plans, training material, and technical manuals.
• Maintain training records, schedules, and ensure course standards are met.
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
• Support the Qualified Weapons Instructor course with provided manuals and technical orders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Former F‑16 Weapon School graduate.
• Minimum 1,000 hours F‑16 flight time and 1,500 hours in fighter aircraft.
• Current DoD Secret clearance (investigation within 5 years).
• Lawful eligibility to work in the United States and OCONUS.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the region.

Required skills
