Facilities Maintenance Clerk

About the role

The Facilities Maintenance Clerk provides technical support and administrative assistance to the Amentum Facilities Maintenance team. The role ensures smooth operation of preventive maintenance programs, manages work orders, and maintains accurate records across PSO Headquarters and GPMS sites.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain manual and electronic historical records for maintenance assets.
• Update facility maintenance binders, technical library, and real‑property listings.
• Enter equipment data and maintenance details into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Log, track, and forward completed work orders for supervisor review.
• Prepare monthly reports on completed and outstanding work orders.
• Develop briefings, reports, and filing systems for all maintenance documentation.
• Accompany maintenance staff on field and site visits as needed.
• Perform other duties, including work in shop or warehouse environments and outdoor tasks.

Required profile

• Excellent organizational skills and intermediate English proficiency (read, write, speak).
• High school diploma or equivalent with at least three years of administrative experience.
• Valid home‑country driver’s license and ability to obtain a host‑nation license.
• Physical ability to lift/push/pull at least 50 lb and wear required PPE.
• Willingness to operate material‑handling equipment and work in noisy environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows operating system.
• Microsoft Office suite – PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
• Technical background to receive AutoCAD training.
• Technical background to receive CMMC (Maximo‑like) training.
• Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
