About the role

Join InterContinental Muscat as the welcoming face of Trader Vic’s Restaurant. In this fast‑paced, French Polynesian‑inspired outlet, you will create memorable first and last impressions for guests, ensuring smooth service aligned with InterContinental brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests with professionalism, warmth, and a luxury attitude.
• Manage reservations, waiting lists, and table assignments accurately.
• Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and uphold service standards.
• Communicate with service and kitchen teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond to requests courteously, and handle inquiries or feedback with empathy.
• Maintain cleanliness and visual standards at the host desk and restaurant entrance.
• Uphold InterContinental grooming and brand values at all times.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a hostess or in a guest‑facing hospitality role (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Well‑groomed appearance with a confident, welcoming presence.
• Ability to stay calm and professional in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
