F&B Support Expert – Hostess

About the role

The Guest Service Support Expert (F&B Support Expert – Hostess) ensures smooth food and beverage operations at our hotel in Muscat. You will create a welcoming environment, assist the kitchen and dining areas, and help guests enjoy a memorable experience.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and arrange tables, chairs, and dining accessories.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic tasks and replenish supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including floor sweeping and waste removal.
• Monitor and restock service stations, linens, and guest amenities.
• Read menus, verify information, and support guests with inquiries.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving items up to 25 lb unassisted (50 lb with assistance).

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• No prior work experience required; previous experience in a food‑and‑beverage environment is a plus.
• No supervisory experience needed.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods and navigate uneven or slippery surfaces safely.
