Florist – Housekeeping

About the role

Jumeirah Muscat Bay is seeking a dedicated Florist to join its Housekeeping team. The successful candidate will create and maintain high‑quality floral displays throughout the resort, supporting both daily operations and special events.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily floristry operations in line with departmental policies and SOPs.
• Maintain adequate stock of florist supplies such as ribbons, wires and wrapping paper.
• Support Food & Beverage with floral arrangements for events and special occasions.
• Prepare, arrange and refresh flower and greenery displays across the hotel.
• Inspect incoming flower deliveries, reject sub‑standard items and ensure quality standards.
• Prepare cost‑control reports and monitor in‑house flower requests.

Required profile

• High School Diploma (essential); vocational qualification in Floristry or Horticulture is an advantage.
• 1–2 years of experience in floral design, preferably within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong understanding of flower handling, arrangement techniques and aesthetic standards.

Required skills

• Floral design and arrangement.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental standards in hospitality.
• Inventory management for florist supplies.
