About the role

Al Salama Hospital is seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join its medical team in Oman. This full-time, on-site position involves delivering primary care services, diagnosing a wide range of health conditions, and coordinating with specialists to ensure comprehensive patient treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat patients presenting with diverse medical issues.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
• Collaborate with specialist physicians and refer patients when necessary.
• Provide health education and lifestyle guidance to patients.
• Supervise and train junior staff or medical students as required.

Required profile

• Medical degree with a valid licence to practice as a General Practitioner in Oman.
• Experience in primary care, family medicine or general practice.
• Strong diagnostic and treatment planning abilities.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and excellent communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Expertise in medicine, primary care and family medicine.
• Proficiency in nursing and patient-care practices.
• Experience in supervising and providing medical training.
