IT Coordinator – Oman

About the role

We are seeking a proactive IT Coordinator to oversee and support our organization’s IT infrastructure in Oman. The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software while ensuring smooth daily IT operations.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain computers, servers, printers, scanners and mobile devices.
• Provide technical support to employees both onsite and remotely.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, diagnosing and resolving faults.
• Monitor system performance and ensure maximum uptime.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and access rights.
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement and maintenance of IT equipment.
• Implement data security measures, backups and recovery processes.
• Assist in developing and enforcing IT policies, procedures and best practices.
• Maintain accurate IT inventory and documentation of configurations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support or coordination.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, basic networking and Windows operating systems.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and system maintenance.
• Familiarity with IT security practices and backup solutions.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
