IT Expert – Oman

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Expert to join our team in Oman. The role involves maintaining a complex IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability of services, and providing expert-level support across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Manage Dell server and chassis environments as well as NetApp storage systems.
• Provision, install, maintain, and support VMware Enterprise environments.
• Administer Microsoft stack components including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, SCCM, and Exchange.
• Maintain Linux and Ubuntu open‑source environments.
• Operate VEEAM Enterprise Backup and execute disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Configure and manage IP Telephony using Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM).
• Administer Fortinet security products (FortiGate, FortiMail, FortiSIEM) and XDR solutions.
• Work with Broadcom and Boldon James security tools.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven experience in multi‑vendor environments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
